I was born on the beautiful island of St. Croix, Virgin Islands and raised in sunny Miami, Florida. I have been living in Miami for over twenty years and I love it. I have three brothers, two sisters, and I am the oldest. As the oldest child, I learned quickly what it meant to be responsible for a family, which later would lead me to where I am today – an organized, well developed, virtuous, woman of God. I am married to a loving husband and pastor for over 16 years, and have three amazing children who adores me, and I them. I received my bachelor’s degree in Technical Management in the fall of 2009. It’s an accomplishment I long awaited for.
I am pretty much a laid back kind of lady who likes to look deeper into everything that happens in my life. I try my best not to take anything for granted, but learn all I can from my experiences. It is definitely a good teacher. I also like to travel, (which I don’t get to do much of) and write in my journals.
In 1994, I started out in Omega Sisters Ministry (OSM) as the Social Committee Chair, planning events and coming up with different projects that would enhance the members of our ministry, as well as touch the lives of the women that we minister to. One of them was the “Getting to Know You” project, which brought the members closer together as we moved forward in our God-given purpose. Years later, I became the President of the Omega Sisters Ministry, which I am very proud of because I know I am part of something bigger than myself. It’s a ministry that will make a difference in the lives of women.
As President of OSM, I am very excited about where God is taking us. I am currently working on various projects and I am ready to move the ministry to another level where it can be used as a channel to birth other ministries within OSM. The mission has already begun. It’s all about God’s vision and accomplishing it. The Omega Sisters Ministry has caught hold of that vision and is walking in a new dimension.
