It's been awhile since I have posted anything on the blog. I've been busy, then sick, and now I am feeling better. So what's your plan for the new year? I don't have any resolutions, but I am looking forward to things picking up financially for me while I get out of debt. My goal is to publish a poetry book this year. Let's see where that takes me. I have two inspirational Haikus below that will inspire you to go after your dreams for 2011. Enjoy!
A New Beginning in a New Year - Haiku
Forgetting the Past
Taking all in the present
The future is bright
Written in the Pages of Time - Haiku
Driven by purpose
You can be what was written
Listen to His voice.
Leave me a comment and let me know what you think. Happy New Years to you and your family!
"Be Inspired" simply means walking in the divine and appointed purpose God has set for your life.

It Pays to Be Thankful
There are so many things to be thankful for - family, friends, life, health, and so on. I do my best to see the things that I have and not focus on what I don't have. It helps me to be thankful and to take nothing for granted. My prayer for you today is that you will only see the things you have and be thankful for them. God had blessed you with more than you realize. With a thankful heart, He will give you even more than you have, and again you can give thanks.
As Thanksgiving approaches, may you be able to reflect on your life and focus on the things that you can be thankful for. May these Haikus below be an encouragement to you.

Spread Your Wings and Fly Again!
Sometimes we feel broken and think that we will never be great. That is far from the truth. You can do all things through Christ who gives you the strength ( Philippians 4:13). It's up to you not be broken anymore, but find the strength in Christ to be made whole.

There's Greatness in You
It's amazing how easy it is to listen to everyone else, except the God who made you. There's greatness in everyone, but it's up to each individual to find Him. I hope you will be inspired today to tap into God's
greatness.
greatness.

In Times Like These
In times like these... (fill in the blank), it is sometimes difficult to get over and have the energy to see the light at the end of the tunnel. No matter what's going on and how you feel, God is still there. Don't give up and don't lose hope, because things will get better.

This is My Mother
I love my mother very much. She has tought me so much about being strong, independent, and learning how to get through tough times. She has prepared me to be the woman and mother I am today. In her lies passion, and the drive to fulfill God's purpose. I love you mommy!
